Christmas songs are in the shops and prawns are flying off the shelves, which means summer is well and truly here. If you’re stuck for something to do on these warm sunny days, here’s a list of Perth’s top pop-up events to keep you and the family entertained throughout the holidays and beyond.

Under the Bridge Food Trucks

Fremantle - Mosman Park The renowned Under the Bridge pop up event returns this summer, bringing delicious street food to Freo and Mosman Park every Monday and Thursday.  Food trucks will line Freo's East Street Jetty every Monday from 5-8pm and Tom Perrot Reserve in Mosman Park every Thursday from 5-8pm. Both events offer tasty, local food that you can enjoy while the sun sets over some of the city's most beautiful spots. Street drinking isn’t allowed at this family friendly event, but you can bring along a chair and relax with good food and good vibes. What’s not to love?

Ice Cream Factory

Northbridge Ice Cream Factory at the heart of Northbridge is a micro-festival of fun. Every weekend until January 1 the corner at Roe Street and Lake Street plays host to 11 bars and 8 dance floors, including some custom-made rooftop bars and decks. The New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day events have sold out, but get in quick and you can still experience Melt Fridays and Banana Saturdays.
