From the Fringe Festival all-male circus troupe that brought us the sexy spectacle that was Railed in 2019 comes an exciting new Fringe show, Elixir. Head First Acrobats' newest offering combines science, death-defying acrobatics, slapstick comedy and an injection of good old Aussie testosterone and is sure to set pulses racing. They will be performing as part of Fringe World 2021 at the Edith Spiegeltent in the Woodside Pleasure Garden from Jan 15 to Feb 14. Classically, the three men experiment the concoctions on themselves, resulting in a craze of defying stunts with comedic rhythm. Expect to see heights of five meters reached by the flying men from the teeterboard, spinning sporadically in the cyr wheel, using a wobbling cane as means for a one-armed handstand and balancing impeccably on their heads on a swinging trapeze. Head First Acrobats demonstrate year after year their shows at Fringe are one not to miss. Shows provide world-class circus and physical theatre, and their international acclaims attest to this. The 'Best Circus at Adelaide Fringe 2018/2020' winners demonstrate thrilling performances in all kinds of locations across Australia and the globe. Head First Acrobat shows are known to sell out fast, as proven by sold-out seasons around the world and constant five-star reviews, so if sexy men swinging from chemical creations appeals to you, get in quick! Leave the kids at home and gather some friends or a date for some high-energy stunts from these bare-chested boys. Mid-week shows are selling for $35 pp while Friday and Saturday tickets are $39pp. Grab your tickets here.
