WAYJO: Jazz for JuniorsHis Majesty's Theatre, 17 & 20 Apr
Debuting in 2017, WAYJO’s Jazz for Juniors concerts enraptured young and old audiences alike. They couldn’t keep up with demand, adding new shows throughout the year and selling out each time. Now they're back! Designed for children 7 years and under, each school holiday will focus on different aspects of jazz music - this time, it's Meet the Jazz Orchestra! The concerts offer child friendly instruments for the kids to try out at the end of each session, plus interactive songs throughout, led by WAYJO’s dynamic band members.
Fairbridge FestivalPinjarra, Apr 20-22
The three-day family-friendly camping festival features close to 100 local and international world, folk and roots acts, set in a rural village just an hour south of Perth. The festival also incorporates youth and children's festivals, along with artisan markets, community stalls, comedy, dance and street theatre. Buddha's Birthday & Multicultural FestivalElizabeth Quay, Apr 14-15
This free family-friendly festival is one of Perth's biggest multicultural events. Head down to Elizabeth Quay to celebrate the birth of the Buddha and try out an array of the unique activities on offer, from mass meditation sessions to vegetarian food fairs. This is a great way for the whole family to learn about different cultures from across the world. There will also be an arts and craft section and a number of rides just for the kids to enjoy.

Switch your imagination on for innovative activities and challenges to suit all ages at Scitech's most creative school holidays yet. Watch wow-inducing experiments in the Science Theatre, see if you can complete the mystery box challenge in the Tinkering Space, or even try creating your own molecular origami.
Karijini ExperienceKarijini National Park, Apr 17-22
The Karijini Experience is planned to coincide with the school holidays and the best of the Pilbara weather. There’s an array of free and family friendly events spread across the program, focusing on the fusion of art, music, food and culture. Dr Dolittle Goes BushThe Bibbulmun Track, Apr 28
This hands-on event is a great way to get kids amongst nature and away from the X-Box and PlayStation. A 2 km return stroll on the Bibbulmun Track for children (5-12yrs) to a typical campsite to see and learn about the native animals from the Kanyana Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre. Bookings essential.
