Monster Alphabets, Empire Rose, Albus Lumen and more dazzle at the Opening Night of Telstra Perth Fashion Festival 2017.
Deep in the spectacular setting of Crown Pyramid, Telstra Perth Fashion Festival’s Opening Night showcased the latest collections from a powerful line-up of leading local and national designers. The unforgettably bold runway celebrated the power of women in fashion and featured an all-star line up including Alice McCall; Albus Lumen; Bec & Bridge; Christopher Esber; Empire Rose and Monster Alphabets. Opening the show, Albus Lumen wowed audiences with impeccably cut pieces in natural fibres such as linen, silk and cotton drill in neutral shades. Staying true to the label’s signature flirty poise, Alice McCall graced the runway with spring florals in delicate sheer fabrics. Empire Rose channelled Jean Paul Gautier-esq bold and eclectic vibes, mixing plaid with sequins and plenty of texture, whilst Bec & Bridge kept it simple and elegant with stunning silks in sophisticated colours. Monster Alphabets provided this season’s wardrobe staples with statement structured pieces. Christopher Esber brought a fresh edge to the line-up, honouring femininity and androgyny with resort pieces of bold suits in stripes. With their daring vision and remarkable design talent, these style influencers are not just shaping the Australian fashion industry, but putting Australia on the international map when it comes to creating high quality ready-to-wear pieces for the modern contemporary woman.
