In its final instalment, the students of WAAPA return for a night of music under the stars with WAAPA in the Park!
As the renowned performing arts academy celebrates its 40th year anniversary, join WAAPA's Jazz and Contemporary students for the last annual WAAPA in the Park. An exhibition of talent and passion, it's a great opportunity to gather your family and friends together and bring a picnic to Ron Stone Park in Mount Lawley on Saturday 14 March for a free evening of popular songs and cool classics.
Presented by the City of Stirling, Edith Cowan University and WAAPA since 2007, this will be the last WAAPA in Park before it transforms into a fresh new event next year.
Be wowed by the incredible musical talent that’s on your doorstep at Australia’s premier performing arts academy, as WAAPA’s Jazz and Contemporary student musicians rock, bop and strut their way through a collection of old and new jazz, funk, soul, R ‘n’ B and pop classics.
The students will light up the night with a stellar set of music by some of the world’s biggest artists including the Eagles, George Michael, Ariana Grande, John Mayer and Sara Bareilles.
