1.The Rock Proms – Oct 27
A concert featuring the greatest rock hits and anthems of all time; from the greatest contemporary artists of all time, performed by fifty musicians and singers on-stage and fronted by four of the best performers and voices in the country. Artists chosen not just for their great vocal pipes but also for their ability to entertain and rip the place apart. The Rock Proms brings to Australian audiences the ambience of Royal Albert Hall, London but with the tuxes and evening gowns replaced by denims, lycra, boots and maybe a tat or two. 2. Dreams and Nightmares: A Halloween Symphony Spectacular – Oct 28
Enter a realm where dreams and nightmares intertwine, as the West Coast Philharmonic Orchestra presents a spine-tingling, awe-inspiring Halloween concert like no other. Prepare for an evening of enchantment and fright, where the power of music brings to life the shadows of the night and the dreams that enchant our sleep. “Dreams & Nightmares” will take you on a mesmerizing journey through a world where reality and imagination collide. From the glistening beauty of Mozart’s “Queen of the Night” aria to the haunting adventures of The Sorcerer’s Apprentice and much more, let this concert cast a spell over you – transporting you to a world of both enchantment and frightful delight!
3. Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde – Oct 29
Perth Concert Hall’s 3000-pipe organ will be commanded by virtuoso organist Alessandro Pittorino (graduate of the famed Juilliard School in New York City), who will release the beast accompanying the 1920 silent film classic, Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, the story of a possessed doctor who tests his new formula that can unleash people’s inner demons.
Following on from the huge success of Nosferatu (2021) and Metropolis (2022), Alessandro will be creating and improvising the live music film score to this horror film classic as you watch; each moment more riveting and ‘on the edge of your seat’ than the last. Don’t miss this chance to be enveloped in a world that you’ve never experienced before and may not ever be created again!
4. Steve Vai – Nov 11
Steve and his long-tenured ensemble will be touring around Australia and New Zealand for the first time since their highly successful shows in 2013.
A career spanning over 40 years, and considered as one of the greatest guitarists of all time. Vai has sold over 15 million records, received three Grammy Awards and recorded with music legends like Frank Zappa, David Lee Roth and more. Vai has also toured extensively and recorded live projects with ‘G3’ (collaborating with different touring line-ups, including Joe Satriani, John Petrucci and Eric Johnson) and ‘Generation Axe’, a supergroup Vai formed with Zakk Wylde, Yngwie Malmsteen, Nuno Bettencourt and Tosin Abasi. Over the past two years, Vai has released a new studio album titled Inviolate and a record titled Vai/Gash. Don’t miss this chance of a lifetime to watch this exceptional guitarist for one night!
5. MILOŠ ‘The Classical Guitar Hero Nov 12
The accomplished, world-famous classical guitarist, dubbed by many as “The Classical Guitar Hero”, has continued to astonish audiences across the world with his virtuosic playing and unique interpretations of multiple musical languages. MILOŠ has proven that he stands shoulder-to-shoulder with the best classical guitarists. With more than a decade of performances in the world’s finest venues, MILOŠ’ solo recital at Royal Albert Hall, London, was a world first for a classical guitarist. Now exclusively signed to SONY Classical, MILOŠ has committed himself to expanding the repertoire for the classical guitar through commissioning of new works. His new solo album is due to be released in 2023 and will explore the theme of baroque and its guitar repertoire treasures.
6. Level Up: A Video Game Symphony Dec 2

After last year’s sell out success tour across Australia, he’s back with a blast! James and his big band will embark on a national tour with a very special show performing swing classics made famous by Duke Ellington, Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, Dizzy Gillespie, Sinatra, and more. We’re thrilled to announce that joining James on stage will be Australian music icon and multi-award winning singer/songwriter Melinda Schneider, and an all-star big band boasting some of the best jazz musicians in the country. If you’ve heard James Morrison with a small band and fallen for his musical magic, imagine that superb sound with twice the trumpets and trombones, three times the saxophones, incredible guest musicians and James trumpeting away in the lead like a man possessed!
8. New Year’s Eve (Matinee) Dec 31
Featuring artists from around the globe together with celebrated local talent, prepare to be inspired and entertained by this magical musical event. Join Perth Concert Hall for an afternoon of celebration as we countdown to 2024 with internationally renowned soloists together with local artists and musicians who will bring their experience, repertoire and glamour to this year’s matinée concert. In addition to the evening gala, the matinée concert is back by popular demand for those looking to enjoy a shorter, family-friendly event or just start their New Year celebrations early.
9. New Year’s Eve Gala Dec 31
Join Perth Concert Hall as they countdown to 2024 with internationally celebrated soloists together with local artists and musicians who will bring their experience, repertoire and glamour to this year’s concert.
