Live music and cocktails surrounded by the Swan River? That’s what Perth’s new floating venue The Raft are offering, and they’re hosting their first Sunday session this weekend.
Live on the Raft is brought to you by the team behind Wine Machine, and they’re bringing along some of the best from the festival, including Bag Raiders and Owl Eyes, as well as some other surprise guests.
A charter vessel departs Barrack St Jetty to carry you across the water to the venue, where cocktails and party vibes await for the rest of the afternoon.
You know Bag Raiders from their hit single ‘Shooting Stars,’ which has achieved global meme status after being used in a popular video edit format. A busy tour schedule has taken them all over the world, including North America, with several shows sold out across Australia. They have also supported the iconic acts Duran Duran and Chic, and they are fresh out of quarantine to hit up The Raft.
Owl Eyes has appeared at Coachella and Glastonbury as Flight Facilities’ resident vocalist, allowing her to perform to huge crows all over the world, and as a solo artist, she is a well-loved alt-pop darling here at home in Australia.
Tickets for The Raft’s first Sunday session are available here.
