Fringe World have just released a second wave of 100 shows for next's years Fringe Festival! Earlier in the month, Fringe World Friends were treated to a first round of early release tickets for highly anticipated shows such as The Choir of Man, and all-female circus powerhouse YUCK Circus. Today, another 100 shows have been unveiled, with even more incredible acts and returning favourites taking up centre-stage at Fringe Festival hubs across the city. The full program will be released on November 14 and features a massive line-up of over 700 exciting events. In the meantime, check out the highlights of early release round 2!

Girls School

The newest (and oldest) hub at Fringe World is the old Perth Girls School. In 2020, it will be the Festival’s second largest hub, playing host to a huge range of shows, including epic one-man show Thunderstruck, fresh from its award-winning run at the Edinburgh Fringe earlier this year, and the thought-provoking stage spectacular James Hancox: 1000 Great Lives. Fringe lovers will be pleased to know that Festival favourite Sense and Spontaneity will be making a comeback in 2020, so grab tickets and get ready for an improvised rollercoaster of hilarity! Fringe Central

The beating heart of Fringe World, Fringe Central will be home to several immersive Festival shows, including Flight and Séance from creators Darkfield, who will be turning out the lights for a spine-tingling, mysterious and thrilling experience!

The Woodside Pleasure Garden

It's the perfect place to while away the balmy summer evenings and in 2020, The Woodside Pleasure Garden will showcase a huge range of Fringe World talent, including the multi-generational circus troupe Casting Off and award-winning Festival performer Stuart Lightbody with his latest show No Hero with Stuart Lightbody.

The Ice Cream Factory

For a variety bag of comedy treats, venture over to the Happy Hub at The Ice Cream Factory. From the creators of BLANC DE BLANC and LIMBO is Happy Times Hotel, featuring Heather Holliday, Reuben Kaye and a host of daring deviants. Leave the kids at home for this one because things are sure to get a little nutty over at Puppetry Of The Penis, which features a collection of the best, most blush-inducing, laugh-out-loud bits of the hugely popular show.

Fremantle, Subiaco and beyond!

The major Hubs are not the only places in Perth to get in on the Fringe action – shows can be found in all corners of the metropolitan area, including at venues across Fremantle and in Subiaco. Anyone who has ever been on a date will get a laugh out of Single at the Fremantle Comedy Factory, where two of Perth’s favourite comedians, Jon Pinder and Simone Springer, will be dishing out (bad) relationship advice. Cat lovers can see the purr-fect premiere of Cat Concerts in Subiaco, where you can have a coffee and cuddle a rescue kitten as the sweet sounds of Australian Baroque flow through your eardrums.
