WAAPA is grateful for the support of sponsors, community partners, philanthropic donors and Friends of The Academy.
WAAPA productions and our visiting artists program are self-funded. WAAPA productions are critical to providing our students with real world on-stage experience. The Artist Program brings professional choreographers, technicians, artists, musicians and directors to the Academy to work with our students, and is also essential component of students’ education and experience.
Support from Corporate Partners through in-kind and cash sponsorship helps underwrite the costs associated with annual productions and, along with donations from members of the public, fund activities including the selection of prizes and scholarships awarded to outstanding WAAPA students.
Community partnerships with metropolitan and regional councils enable us to take productions and concerts off-campus, increasing community engagement and providing students with additional performance opportunities.
