The Whale's Tale
Join us under Otto the Blue Whale in Hackett Hall at the WA Museum Boola Bardip for The Whale’s Tale, a highly interactive theatre show full of slapstick and clowning. The centrepiece of this show is a 9-metre whale puppet that can swallow you whole! Watch out, you could be the whale’s next snack... or become the hero of the story and live to tell the tale!
We Live Here
We Live Here by Flipside Circus with Circus WA is an inspiring circus show that celebrates the memories and moments that make a life. Performed at the State Theatre Centre of WA, this gentle and funny show is based on the stories of parents, siblings and guests of Hummingbird House, Queensland’s only youth hospice, We Live Here explore themes of resilience, chaos and beauty of a moment shared.
Cicada
Cicada tell story. Story good. Story simple. Story even human can understand. Tok! Tok! Tok! So begins the story of a dutiful cicada who works away in a grey office year after year, until the day something truly extraordinary begins to happen… This new stage adaptation brings master-storyteller Shaun Tan’s award-winning Cicada to life with exquisite puppetry and visual storytelling by WA’s leading theatre-makers. A small story of epic proportions, Cicada is an enchanting tale of difference, resilience and the light we all have inside ourselves.
