Geoff Gibbs Theatre, 11th - 17th November Celebrating the influence of German choreographer Pina Bausch on generations of performers across the world, Icon brings glory to her work, performed for the first time ever in Perth this November. Debuting on the 11th November, this performance has been crafted to appreciate the beauty of the famous Tannhäuser Bacchanal and will be danced by second and third year students of WAAPA with LINK dance company. Tannhäuser Bacchanal is taught by leading artist-in-residence Marigia Maggipinto, and Ophelia Young who are both long standing members of the Tanztheater Wuppertal.
