WA Cricket Foundation

The foundation is in support of WACA’s vision to develop all levels of cricket in WA and ensuring longevity and success for the WACA ground. This includes ground development, ensuring all facilities are available for the wider community and an opportunity to leave a bequest in your Will to support WA cricket’s programs and initiatives. Multiple programs are run to ensure everyone has equal opportunity to participate in the game including the WACA Female Pathway Program and Northwest Cricket Program amongst many others for kids, schools, seniors, disability cricket, aboriginal and social cricket. WACA Ground

WACA hosted the first grand stand back in 1895 seating just 500 people. The grounds now span 149 metres in length and 139 metres wide, holding up to 23,859 spectators, offering stand chairs and lawn banks allowing viewers to lounge with their family and friends whilst watching a game. The first cricket match was held at the WACA 1894 and the ground has since been host to multiple domestic and international teams. The ground has also been a popular location for various other sporting events such as AFL, soccer and rugby. There are also multiple function rooms available for any occasion catering for up to 600 people.

Getting there

The easiest and most accessible way to get to the grounds is to take advantage of nearby public transport. If you are driving to the grounds, be sure to check the City of Perth’s parking facilities to find the closest available car park.
