Mandurah

Only 74km south of Perth, the coastal city of Mandurah is a dream location for boating enthusiasts. Enjoying some of the most spectacular waterways in the country, Mandurah is blessed with abundant wildlife, pristine beaches and beautiful rivers that make the region the perfect aquatic playground for locals and visitors alike. Whilst exploring the town's vast waterways, dock up to have lunch at the award-winning, modern Mandurah Ocean Marina, cruise the Murray River, and enjoy the scenery of this unique ecosystem.

Geographe Bay

Nestled between Busselton and Dunsborough in the Margaret River region, Geographe Bay is a great place for your next sailing and boating holiday. The north-facing coastline is protected from prevailing southerly and southwesterly winds, perfect for a racing or twilight sail. Dunsborough

Launch your boat near Abbey Beach towards Dunsborough for an adventure the whole family will enjoy. Dunsborough is blessed with one of the best boat ramps in the southwest (just near Quindalup), where you'll find a sandy beach with a small jetty where you can head straight out into a sheltered bay.

HMAS Swan dive wreck

Once you’re raring to go, head to the HMAS Swan dive wreck for underwater exploration. To catch large skippy, tailor and reef fish, ask the locals for directions to the Windmills, Torpedo Rocks and the artificial reef. Esperance

Further south, Esperance's coastline is so beautiful that many boaters stick to the basics... a leisurely cruise adjacent to the shore and a picnic lunch on an abandoned stretch of beach. Woody Island, a large island within the Recherche Archipelago, is easily accessible from the Esperance Harbour Boat ramp, and offers great camping facilities and bushland views over to Shearwater Bay.
