This includes an extensive collection of replicas and models, bound to spell-bind miniature enthusiasts. Another significant archive is the “Mists of Time” exhibition, which explores history’s chequered efforts to conquer air with strange devices.
The site also boasts a special collection dedicated to the Women’s Auxiliary Australian Air Force, and a section specific to Western Australia’s aviation history – including the state’s commercial competition and the fascinating work of Robin Miller, known as the “Sugar Bird Lady”, who delivered polio vaccine’s around the North West.
