Market Grounds has just launched the latest long lunch dining experience in partnership with Margaret River’s Vasse Felix. Hosted in the luscious Grounds Beer Gardens, the first of the lunches will be on Saturday March 13, with subsequent lunches scheduled for March 20, April 10 and April 24.
Following on from the success of their last long lunch series, the new offering will feature Head Chef Matt Powell’s three-course seasonal menu paired with bottomless wine, rosè spritz, beer and ciders. Entertainment will be provided by some of Perth's most popular DJs, who will be on deck all day in the Beer Garden as the perfect way to kick off the weekend with your crew.
Start by tucking into a range of entrées including Turkish bread and babaganoush, Beef Carpaccio and Blistered heirloom capsicums with ricotta before moving onto the mains of BBQ Arkady lamb with pearl barley risotto, plus Radicchio on the side and heavenly duck fat roasted potatoes.
Finish off with a lemon posset with lemon sherbet, raspberry and meringue – don’t forget to ask the staff on pairings to complement each of the moreish dishes with a glass of vino.
If bottomless drinks, DJ beats and a seasonal shared-plate menu sound like something you’d like to start your Saturday plans with, then save your spot here. Long lunches will set you back $69 (pp).
