Our top picks of Perth's best new cafes.

1. Max & Sons

'Bout time 140 Perth got a proper coffee joint! The new Max & Sons serves Five Senses coffee, Top Dup doughnuts, and gourmet bagel sandwiches. What more could your morning ask for?

2. Davvero Caffé e Cucina

The Italian expression 'davvero!' translates as 'really!', which was exactly what we thought when we heard that the new eatery – located in the courtyard of the Floreat Forum Shopping Centre of all places – was serving up seriously tasty, house-made pastries like sfogliatine, cornetti and bombolini along with moreish ricotta and nutella pancakes. Once inside the breezy, welcoming cafe, you'll feel as far as you can get from a shopping centre.

3. Max Brenner Chocolate Bar

Lakeside Joondalup scored WA's first and only Max Brenner Chocolate Bar this autumn. This is the 41st cafe from the 15-year-old franchise, which began over east and has since spread to seven countries.

4. Pixel Coffee

Leederville's newest cafe took over the shoebox-sized space once held by Smuggled Seeds. We dig the homemade cakes, Tiffany-blue accents and stay-all-day vibe.

5. Dunn & Walton

Scarborough's beloved health food shop, Absolutely Organic WA, has just opened a much-anticipated cafe by the name of Dunn & Walton. Perth health freaks are loving the organic
coffee, homemade salads, muffins, wraps and cakes.
