Blessed by its abundant surroundings, Rottnest is well-supplied with the freshest seafood and local produce from across the water. Whether it’s crispy fish and chips or freshly baked sourdough pizza that you are craving, the chefs on the island have you covered. ##Thomson’s Get the most out of your island getaway by sampling the local seafood at Thomson’s, where you can tuck into a generous helping of succulent calamari, tempura battered prawns, or chilli garlic mussels. Frankie’s on Rotto

Geordie’s Cafe and Art Gallery


If you’re a little further out of the main settlement, Geordie’s Café sits right by Geordie Bay and doubles as an art gallery. Serving up a strong dose of laid-back, beachy vibes, the café is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Hotel Rottnest


After undergoing months of renovation work, the popular beachfront venue Hotel Rottnest re-opened on September 23. Formerly the summer holiday home of the Governor, Hotel Rottnest has long been a favourite with visitors to the Island, as it overlooks the stunning Thomson Bay. With a seasonal menu focused on fresh, local ingredients, you can expect tasty seafood, hearty comfort food and pizzas perfect for sharing with friends and family – or having entirely to yourself, no judgement here!
