From hospitals, courthouse buildings, police stations, and educational institutions to elite sporting facilities, Sandover Pinder Architects has the expertise and experience required to deliver complex, bespoke projects.

Sandover Pinder Architects' work can be seen all over Australia, and the East and South-East Asian regions.

With an established global presence, the firm recently celebrated 20 years since the merger of Sandover Architects and Pinder & Partners. Its current owners, Michael Henderson, David Karotkin and Peter Giangiulio, along with principal Robert Murray, have been with the firm for the full 20 years, and have enjoyed watching it grow and expand its services across a broad range of sectors.

The directors are committed to contributing to the cultural and social development of the community both locally and nationally, recently providing pro-bono services for the development of the new WA Ballet Centre, the North Cottesloe Surf Club, and the University of Indonesia Health Campus.

An adjunct professor in the faculty of medicine and dentistry at UWA, Michael Henderson is a board member of WA Ballet, and the founder and chair of the International Skills and Training Institute in Health, as well as holding a number of senior advisory positions with state and commonwealth government agencies.
David Karotkin is a former state and national president of the Australian Institute of Architects, a director of the Museum of Freedom and Tolerance WA, a director of Archicentre Pty Ltd, and a member of the City of Perth Design Advisory Committee.

In 2010, Sandover Pinder entered into an alliance partnership with dwp|suters, a national architectural firm with offices in NSW, Vic and Qld.

This alliance allows the firm to collaborate on large and complex projects, and to access specialist resources and expertise that will benefit its clients' project outcomes.

In recent years, Sandover Pinder has developed expertise in the design of elite sport facilities. Having completed the WA Rugby Centre, the firm then joined with their alliance partners to deliver the State Netball Centre, WA Institute of Sport High Performance Service Centre, and the new Fremantle Dockers headquarters in Cockburn, currently in construction. Sandover Pinder's health portfolio includes two large hospital projects in Indonesia, in addition to projects at Perth metropolitan hospitals and regional hospitals in Bunbury, Carnarvon, and Exmouth.

New primary and secondary school projects for the State government have also been a focus. But all of this hard work has not gone unnoticed; the firm has collected numerous awards from the Australian Institute of Architects, the Heritage Council of WA, and the Master Builders Association.

In addition to its commitment to the provision of superior design services, Sandover Pinder places high value on the development and nurturing of relationships with clients, consultants and contractors in order to achieve mutual benefits.
