Transform an unused area of your home into a practical yet stylish kitchen with the help of renovations specialists Albourne Projects.

Regarding the client as part of the team, rather than just the customer, is a key part of the renovation process for Albourne Projects.

The company chooses to let its clients get involved with the project, working together to achieve the best possible outcome while still managing the renovation from conception to completion.

Albourne Projects makes sure that there is one primary point of contact through the entire process, and so creates a streamlined experience with an emphasis on communication with each client.

With 30 years of experience working in the building industry, there is no renovation
too complex for this West Australian-owned and operated company.

WOODLANDS

The owner of this home decided to transform a classic 1960s laundry room that had laid dormant for years into a second kitchen that would not only be practical, but also add value to their home.

As with all the company's renovations, Albourne Projects worked closely with the client to design and build a kitchen that met their individual needs while also exuding a contemporary style.

The original fitout was completely removed and stripped back to reveal bare brick walls and floor. Window frames were removed but the window recesses (and a door opening) were retained and retrofitted with Aneeta sashless windows, a style that somewhat evokes the structure's era.

A glass French door was selected to visually connect with the home's lounge and kitchen areas. Rather than sand and cement plastering, walls were dry-lined using wet-area gyprock plasterboard, for its insulation and noise-reducing benefits.

Keeping the design simple yet stylish was important to the client and their young family, so materials that were of high quality yet long-lasting were selected.

The kitchen cabinetry combined custom-built and flat-pack materials to stay within budget, with the hard-wearing stone benchtop complementing the kitchen's colour scheme. Heated flooring was installed, adding a touch of luxury to the space.

To add a point of difference, the clients requested glaziers Cooling Brothers Glass Company extend the splashback to bulkhead level, creating a clean, minimalistic finish to the area.

The completed kitchen boasts modern styling for the young family, with plenty of natural light brightening the effective, durable design.
