Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids and West Elm are right at home in Perth’s bustling shopping precinct, making a bold statement with their modern frontages and sleek fit-outs.

When taking a stroll through Hay Street Mall, you're sure to notice the brand-new Pottery Barn and West Elm stores.

After establishing a presence on the eastern seaboard, American retail company Williams Sonoma acquired the highly sought-after lease that would fill the void where global bookstore Borders used to operate. CDI Group was appointed for the task, partnering with Global Projects, Leffler Simes Architects, and Simpson Kotzman to deliver a high-standard retail fit-out, comprising three individual brands under the Williams Sonoma umbrella.

The new retail space covers more than 2000sqm, and includes back-of-house storage and staff facilities, detailed front-of-house retail fixtures, and state-of-the-art lighting and audio to enhance the shopping public's experience.

Key concerns from the client were for the project to be delivered within both the budget and the time frame, without compromising on quality and, as with of its projects, CDI Group fulfilled the brief, wowing the client with its professional service and strong attention to detail.

The Williams Sonoma project also illustrates CDI Group's versatility as a locally run construction and property group, and showcases the company's skills since it has extended its services to the retail sector.
