The return of Spring also means the return of Perth’s favourite Spring past time – a day at the races!

Ascot’s Spring Racing Carnival combines all the best elements of racing excitement, including glorious Perth sunshine, delectable food from the many restaurants and dining options, quality thoroughbred racing action, plus so much entertainment you’ll be smiling from ear-to-ear.

2. Hobby Horse Riding


As part of their monthly Family Days, Ascot Racecourse will play host to a hobby horse tournament for the young ones (and young at heart). Be a part of the cultural phenomenon and prance your heart out at Ascot. Starting from Saturday, 12 October on Crown Perth Opening Day, there will be loads of free activities for the whole family, including bouncy castles, pony rides, games, stilt walkers, face painting, giveaways and more.

3. Pink Gin Cocktails


Pink gin is set to be the drink of the season. Enjoy some delicious Gordon’s Pink Gin cocktails from the pop-up Pink Gin Bar, while you take in the gorgeous spring weather and enjoy the unbeatable race day atmosphere of Ascot Racecourse.
