Tura Soup Nights are a new monthly serving of sound, hosted at The Sewing Room on the second Tuesday of each month. They will showcase new sounds from sonic artists from both near and far, acting as a platform for new curators and cross-disciplinary collaboration. Soup Nights will act as a meeting point for artists of different backgrounds, where they can connect and share ideas.
The first instalment held in August saw dance and music combine in conversation. The second Soup Nights, to be held in October, will feature new chamber music from Greywing Ensemble, before Michael Terren takes over in November for a night of experimental Electronica. December’s edition will close off the year with an end of year musical celebration to take us into 2020.
Tickets: $15 at the door. Special price of $5 for WAAPA, UWA Music, STRUT Dance, Ausdance, WAM and The Blue Room Theatre members.
Venue: The Sewing Room, 317 Murray Street, (Basement) Wolf Lane, Perth
