Celebrating the renewal of spring throughout WA’s Great Southern, the LiveLighter Bloom Festival showcases the wildflower tapestries and unique town cultures of this diverse region.
Hosted by over 19 towns and encompassing more than 50 events, it is well worth taking the time to appreciate what nature, and the region’s passionate locals, have to offer at this time of year.
Over one whole month enjoy a range of events including arts & crafts, floral-themed activities, guided tours, food & wine events as well as markets and workshops.
The festival will take you across Mount Barker in the south, Kojonup and Woodanilling in the north, Pingrup in the east and to Frankland River in the west, stopping in major centres such as Katanning, Gnowangerup, the Stirling Ranges and the Porongurups. If you’re feeling a little daunted don’t worry! Festival organisers have put together a series of suggested wildflower itineraries which will ensure you hit all the top spots.
This year the LiveLighter Bloom Festival celebrates its 10th anniversary and will take place from Sunday, September 18 to Sunday, October 17. Tickets can be purchased here. Don't miss out on this perfect occasion to discover the hidden springtime treasures of the Great Southern!
