On Saturday, April 8, we headed to the Swan Valley Wine Region to check out Perth's newest party, Hot Dub Wine Machine. A whopping 12,500 party-goers hit Houghton's Winery to rock out in the fields, consume a few too many wines and bust out to a massive line up never seen in Perth before! Hot Dub Wine Machine was something unforgettable; like that casual Sunday arvo drink that escalated 'real quick!'

Headliner and closing act DJ Tom Loud Hot Dub spun tunes from the 1950s through to the present in chronological order making a party scene like no other! Leading up to Hot Dub, the party was kept alive with sets from PNAU, Miami Horror, Crooked Colours, Young Franco, Running Touch, Tom Tilley, Confidence Man, Dena Amy, Liz Cambage, Sports, Tina Says, I Oh You DJs, Mimi, Pilerats DJs and Falcona DJs.

The beautiful location made this festival stand out from the rest. Set amongst the lush gardens of Houghton's Winery full of stately pines, verdant vines, and Jacaranda trees, where else would you rather be? The scenery did not go unnoticed as the day kicked off with a pre-ordered picnic overlooking the venue. Party-goers were spoilt for choice with 3 diffferent hampers of delectable delights and a bottle of Houghtons Classic white wine.

Thanks Hot Dub for adding wine to the mix and taking 45,000 people in the time machine. We've heard rumours of another tour next year and are keeping our fingers crossed!
