Beginning this June, Perth will have the opportunity to step into the world of Harry Potter with the Forbidden Forest Experience – a multi-sensory experience under shadows and stars.
On Friday, June 12, Kalamunda’s Jorgensen Park will transform from natural bushland into an illuminated nighttime trail that celebrates the fantasy series.
Visitors will follow a path of soundscapes and come face-to-face with Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts characters along the trail through cutting-edge light and projection elements, from the Hippogriff to the Niffler.
Fans will also have the chance to cast spells, revisit iconic moments from the films and stop for photo-ops, all at their own pace.
The experience culminates in a themed village, where visitors can feast on themed food and drinks and shop official merch.

The Forbidden Forest Experience has already captivated over two million visitors internationally through fixtures in London, New York and Singapore, planting over 99,000 trees in the process, making Perth’s debut highly anticipated for bringing the franchise to a uniquely natural setting.
“After the incredible reception on the east coast, we know Perth audiences are going to embrace the magic of the Forbidden Forest and make it their own,” says Phil Mallet, Head of APAC at Fever.
Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience will be presented from Friday, June 12, for a limited time at Jorgensen Park, Perth. Tickets go on sale Wednesday, May 20, from hpforbiddenforestexperience.com.
