Exhibitions this month explore topics of death, love, empathy and reflection with a particular focus on Aboriginal art and history. Desert River Sea: Portraits of The Kimberley

‘Desert River Sea’ showcases contemporary Aboriginal art in the Kimberley region, bridging the gap between remote artists and urban and international audiences. With over 150 works displayed, the exhibition includes video and animation, sand paintings and glass work alongside traditional drawing and photography.

None Of Us Are Getting Out Of Here Alive

Photography, textiles, sculptures, live performance and interactive installations come together to form ‘None Of Us Are Getting Out Of Here Alive’ by Marijke Loosjes, in which topics of grief, death and dying are examined.

Andrew Nicholls: Hyperkulturemia

After residencies in Italy, where he engaged with sites of the eighteenth-century Grand Tour and viewed antiquity and renaissance masterpieces, Andrew Nicholls presents his interpretations in ‘Hyperkulturemia’.
