An annual favourite in the classical music calendar, A Night on Bay View returns to Claremont Park in honour of love in February.
Join the West Australian Symphony Orchestra for an evening of symphonies under the stars, featuring works from some of the greatest composers in history. It’s a rare opportunity to get the family together to enjoy WASO perform in a free outdoor concert, or have a romantic evening out on the weekend after Valentine's Day.
Following last year’s moonlit performance, the concert will return to Claremont Park on Bayview Terrace on Saturday, 15 February. Inspired by love, the evening will feature rousing works from classical composers such as Mozart, Tchaikovsky, Mendelssohn and Dvořák performed by WASO and special guests. Local Jazz and Fringe Festival performer Ali Bodycoat will join the concert with her amazing vocals, alongside award-winning young cellist Max Wung.
Bring along a picnic blanket or your favourite lawn chair and set up your picnic early for the 7pm start. There will be a host of food trucks in the park from 6pm onwards serving up everything from fried tacos to Italian favourites. Did we mention there'll also be a mouth-watering array of sweet treats on offer? Get your fix of cannoli, gelato and crepes as you settle down for the performance.

The Town of Claremont encourage concertgoers to walk, cycle, or take public transport to the event, as the park is just a short walk from Claremont train station. Alternatively, there is limited parking available in the Town Centre.
