Playthings follows the lives of two 13-year-old outcasts, Arnold and Lucy, who go out into the bush one day in search of a dying kangaroo and come back irreversibly changed. Crammed with laughter and cutting truths, the critically acclaimed production brings teenage angst and discovery to the stage, reminiscent of young love and first times with a dark twist.
