Sculpture by the Sea - Cottesloe Now – Mar 19, Cottesloe Beach Last week to see the 73 artworks on display in Cottesloe’s open air gallery: Sculpture by the Sea. Kevin Robertson - Wonderwall Mar 17 – Apr 14, Art Collective Zooming in and out of the constantly changing environment - from the micro world of meteorite landscapes, to the vast spaces of the desert, to the transient movement of clouds, Kevin Roberton’s paintings are subject to the en plein air approach… (Image: Kevin Robertson, Yellow opal glacier) Monika Lukowska - Encountering place Now - Mar 17, Gallery Central Encountering Place features printmaking works created as part of a PhD at Curtin University. Lukowska examines the materiality of place, while investigating the effect of two radically different places – Katowice, her hometown in Poland, and Perth, her home of 3 years in Australia. All express an idiosyncratic and sensitive reaction to their environment in distinctly different ways. In this exhibition, Bronwen Newbury explores the imagery and inspiration of the oceans that form such an integral part of life on the south coast. Featuring Newbury's acrylic and oil on canvas works.
