Popular Perth providore Black Pig Deli, known for its house charcuterie and small batch artisan products, is expanding, opening up Little Pig Eatery just next door on Beaufort St, on October 12.
Offering both dine-in and takeaway options, Little Pig will feature many of Black Pig’s unique deli products, as well as playing host to a whole range of regular events, aimed at providing for the community. Such events include BYO weekends, long table events, tastings and guest appearances from wineries, brewers and distillers.
With wholesome and fresh food on the menu, expect a range of casual but tasty bites including house made toasties, sandwiches, sausage rolls and pies alongside the already famous deli delights, such as cured meat, cheese, pickles and dishes with seasonal Australian native ingredients, all with the option to dine in or eat takeaway. The takeaway containers are all 100% biodegradable, so you can add them to the compost after you’ve had your meal.
Co-owner Marissa Bielawski intends Little Pig to be part of the inclusive Inglewood community, and the eatery is designed as the ideal meeting place, being both child and dog friendly. The idea of being a community focal point extends beyond regular business hours, as the space will be available to host community events and workshops, including training sessions for Indigenous students wanting to work in hospitality.
All-in-all, Little Pig intends to make customers feel at home, with relaxed and friendly service. Little Pig will be open Monday to Friday from 6am to 4pm and weekends from 6am to 5pm.
