Only a half-hour road trip from Perth, the Swan Valley is the ideal day trip location. We've used Scoop's Favourite Feature to select a dreamy itinerary of things to do, a couple of wineries to check out and some delish foodie treats to refuel. So fire up the group chat and get your mates together for fun packed (relatively boozy) trip to Swan Valley.
Think gourmet goods, local wine and a unique sporting experience. Kick off your day on West Swan Road with a coffee tasting at Yahava Koffeeworks where you can learn about the different types of coffees, how best to brew them and how to savour the different mouth watering flavours! If you're not buzzed enough, pop over the road to Margaret River Chocolate Co. for a chocolate fix, browse their fabulous array of cocoa delights and grab an enormous handful of free chocolate drops, of course. Now your caffeine and sugar levels are at their peak, it's time to hit a Lancaster Wines to throw some alcohol into the mix. Taste a range of their delicious reds, whites and standout sticky Shiraz in their cool corrugated shed-style cellar door. With bellies full and heads slightly fuzzy, it's time to hit the greens at Oasis Supagolf! This modified form of golf, where the clubs have oversized heads and are made of special polycarbonate plastic, is a hilariously fun form of group activity that is sure to bring out your competitive side. After all that exercise, it'll definitely be time for an alcohol top-up at Olive Farm Wines. Set on a 24-acre property in the heart of the Swan Valley, Olive Farm has received significant awards for its architecture and interior design, so prepare for an amazing tasting experience.
