The Rose & Crown Hotel
As the oldest hotel in WA, The Rose & Crown Hotel holds no shortage of heritage charm as well as ghostly stories within its almost 180-year-old walls. It is believed by many locals that the spirits of convicts and former publicans roam the corridors and the cellar of the venue. But don’t let that scare you from dining at the hotel’s 1841 restaurant, which features classically-inspired décor and two open fireplaces. The Guildford Hotel
With a stunning heritage belvedere tower, exposed brickwork and brass finishes, The Guildford Hotel is a much-loved local pub that was restored to its former glory in 2016 after it was gutted by fire. Perfect for after-work drinks, family meals and special events in their stylish upstairs function space, this heritage-listed venue is a top choice for a casual dinner by the fire. The Abbey at Chesters
Originally a fruit drying shed built in 1890, and later a stable, The Abbey is a homely restaurant off West Swan Road that serves Belgian beers, good hearty food and Heafod Glen wines. Paying homage to the building’s history, The Abbey retained its original bush pole columns and even went as far as using the property’s old stable stall boards to make every single dining table and chair. The Tap at Chapel Farm
