The latest interactive playlist from Perth Symphony offers listeners the perfect musical accompaniment for your next pasta night. Whether you’re after macaroni with Mozart, carbonara with Chopin, or ravioli with Rachmaninoff, this playlist is the perfect way to add some grandeur to your dinner and get connected with the Perth Symphony orchestra.
To accompany the songs in the playlist, Perth Symphony’s podcast channel will feature Emmy-winning film and television composer Silas Hite as a guest on their next episode. Hite is the talent behind the music featured on Netflix’s popular series Chef’s Table and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, so he knows a thing or two about music being a key ingredient in enjoying a delicious meal.
Songs from Hite's album, Sounds for a Dinner Party¸ also feature in the playlist, and pay homage to the joys of eating together with friends and family.
The interactive playlist has been curated by Perth Symphony musicians and staff, but you can add your personal favourites to the playlist too.
You can check out the playlist here and listen to the Perth Symphony Orchestra podcasts on your preferred platform, including Spotify.
