Optimising ocean views of this spectacular Batavia Coast development was not without site challenges during construction.
Representing excellence in building, the Batavia Coast Marina Development is a luxury residential apartment and mixed-use building on the marina waterfront in the hub of Geraldton's CBD.
The building includes 50 apartments, comprising ten three-bedroom units and 40 two-bedroom units, along with four commercial tenancies on the ground floor. Also on the ground floor is the popular and buzzing Skeetas restaurant, boasting ocean views and spectacular sunsets.
The apartment building has an advantageous viewing position like none other in the city, with its spectacular outlook over the marina and vibrant harbour area.
The construction of the prestigious Batavia Coast Marina Development required a meticulous project-management approach to a complex construction site.
Bound by sea on one side and a road on the other, the careful planning of the site's construction logistics and movement of materials was critical to the success of the development. Due to the small worksite, construction had to be strictly sequenced and controlled, particularly with the delivery of materials. This involved stringent delivery times to ensure access to the site remained uncongested throughout the construction process.
The key component of the brief was to optimise ocean views in the design of the building, and maximise external areas for the apartments to emphasise a coastal lifestyle offering.
The mixed-use development incorporates the highest-quality materials throughout, with state-of-the-art internal finishes, plus spacious apartment balconies. These are all enclosed with full height bi-folding glass doors and high-grade, tinted Comfort Plus glass.
