Check our their May new releases below:

Beauty is Embarrassing

A look into the fascinating life of Wayne White, the legendary artist and designer. From his childhood all the way through his career, Neil Berkeley’s debut feature examines what made White so unique and the impact he had on so many other artists.

Bad Brains: A Band in DC

Bad Brains was one of the most experimental bands in the 70s and 80s punk scene. This gripping documentary from directors Mandy Stein & Ben Logan maps out their musical journey, and how they incorporated jazz and reggae to make their unique sound.

Watch The Sunset

An incredibly powerful feature, Watch The Sunset follows the tense and gripping story of an ex-con and his family as they run into a confrontation with criminals and ice addicts. This is a visceral, tense, nervous thriller that unfolds in one shot, in real time.

Narcissister Organ Player

In Narcissister Organ Player, the American artist and performer Narcissister – whose work frequently explores gender, sexuality and racial identity – turns her gaze towards her family, and especially her mother. The results are a unique, personal film in which the performer examines her life and practice in relation to her family and family history.

Tony Conrad: Completely in the Present

A central figure in twentieth-century avant-garde culture Tony Conrad’s biography can be traced through music, cinema and visual art. Filming Conrad since the 1990s, Tyler Hubby’s debut documentary feature, completed shortly before Conrad’s death earlier this year, combines archive and interviews to offer a fascinating portrait of the inspirational artist.

Das Wassup

A fascinating look inside the Florida-based music group, Yo! Majesty. Watch their journey as they go from Florida to touring in Europe and enjoy their hip-hop/electro/rap stylings throughout.
