1. Lychee Beach Club

Lucky Chans Rooftop Bar has unveiled its latest transformation – introducing the Lychee Beach Club! Going beyond the conventional rooftop bar experience, Lychee Beach Club is a destination inspired by the carefree energy of overseas summer adventures and the pulsating beats of beach music festivals. Sip on signature lychee-infused cocktails or try something different from their flavourful menu! Open 5.30pm till late Tuesday to Saturday for walk-in patronage and exclusive function bookings only.
2. The Palace Arcade
Northbridge, Victoria Park & Fremantle
Step back into The Golden Age of Arcade Games and play against your neighbour in some of those most iconic video games. From, Pac Man, Donkey Kong to Mario and Space Invaders, Palace Arcade is the perfect place to let off steam and have a little fun from Wednesday through to Sunday each week. Share a slice of New York style pepperoni pizza with a side of corn ribs, this place is bringing back classic 80’s vibes to your night out. Try their speciality cocktails such as Chi Chi Spritz, Red Frog Grog or Princess Peach! Opening hours vary at their three locations, so be sure to check their website for details.
3. Darling Darling
Fremantle
Step aboard the Darling Darling at your own peril and allow her to take you down to the depths of the sea to Davy Jones’ Locker. Enjoy gin, rum, cold beer, and delicious Old Fashioned’s with unlimited peanuts in the shell (to be strewn across the deck). Make your way down Henry Street in Fremantle from 4 pm every Monday to Thursday and 12 pm Friday to Sunday to join the crew of the Darling Darling. No bookings are required, walk-ins welcome!
4. Toots
Northbridge
Where every night is a prom night, get down and boogie to the sounds of classic disco beats beneath the glittering lights of Perth’s very own disco den. Sip on a decadent french martini, blue Hawaiian or fluffy duck while you dance to the likes of Dancing Queen and Funky Town. Toots is hidden in the heart of the city and where would be the fun in revealing its location when half the fun is finding it! All we can say is, if Toot’s is in town, you can do the hustle all night long. When you find the location, head up to the bar and ask ‘Is Toot’s in?’ to receive your golden ticket. Open from Thursday to Saturday, 6pm to 12am.
5. Hula Bula Bar
Perth
Wishing you could escape to a tropical island? Hula Bula Bar is the next best thing. This vibrant tiki-themed bar is perfect for any luau. From the colourful Hawaiian prints on the walls to their cocktails served up in haka’iki tiki farm mugs, you will be transported out of the humdrum of every day to beach party paradise. Open every Wednesday and Thursday from 4 pm to 11pm, Friday from 4pm to 1am and Saturday 6pm to 1am! Treat yourself to a rum based tiki cocktail while you hula to vintage vinyl tunes into the evening. Despite the realistic summer vibes of the bar, a dress code is still required here, so save those flip flops and singlet tops for the beach.
6. Sneaky Tony’s
Northbridge
For the cool cats and dames of the city, Sneaky Tony’s is the bee’s knees. Taking you back to the prohibition era of the 1920s, enter into a dimly lit room with the sounds of Jazz humming in the background. This speakeasy bar will be pouring out hotsy-totsy cocktails of Black Seal Eggnog, Old Cuban Cherry, Hibiscus Fizz and bowls of punch to share with your pals. In order to get in, you’ll have to find the joint first, and even then you’ll need the password (psst… check their social accounts). Sneaky Tony’s is open Monday to Thursday from 5pm to 11:45pm, Friday and Saturday from 5pm to 12am, and Sunday 5pm to 11:45pm.
7. Hip-E Club
Leederville
Hip-E Club are bringing retro back, with hippie interiors and iconic tunes from past decades. Imagine colourful neon kaleidoscope murals, three-dimensional colour explosions, vibrant hieroglyphics and multiple imaging screens decorating the walls. As you make your way to the dance floor to groove to some of the best hits from the 70s through to the 90s, you won’t be able to miss the brightly coloured kombi van. Hip-E Club are open for good vibes and even greater times on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, with doors open from 9pm until late.
8. Joe’s Juice Joint
Northbridge
Head down into the basement of Joe’s Juice Joint, the hang out of the rockers and metal heads. Joe’s is a moody bar full of attitude with band posters plastered across the walls, bra’s handing from the ceiling and head banging tunes of Metallica, Korn, Nirvana and Kiss blaring from the sound system. Be taken back to your teen years listening to Rage while chowing down on cheeseburgers and fries. From the bar you can throw back boilermakers, jello shots, tinnies, beers on tap, or slurp a concoction from a fish bowl through a crazy long straw, just because you can. Enter through the back alleyway on William Street in Northbridge. Joe’s Juice Joint is open Wednesday to Sunday from 8pm till way past your bedtime.
9. Alabama Song
Northbridge
Alabama Song Bar is bringing Honky Tonk and Country tunes to the city with a side of Southern hospitality. Wednesday and Sunday nights, the Alabama kitchen fry up 50c wings as well as American style crispy fried chicken burgers and cheeseburgers. Wash it all down with an iced cherry cola, Bobby Long Sour or a flight of whisky. Kick up your heels on the wooden floors every Friday and Saturday night and slide along to the live country music playing behind the chicken wire. Saloon doors are open Wednesday to Saturday from 6pm and Sunday from 8pm. Heel and toe down William Street in Northbridge, however, not all is as it seems, finding the entrance is up to you. For those with nut allergies, peanuts are used extensively throughout the venue.
10. Wolf Lane

What’s the time Mr Wolf? It’s time to fall into a collision of your favourite childhood fairy tales with a twist. Wonder inside the most curious lair down Wolf Lane and become lost in a wonderland of murals, eclectic furniture and obscure trinkets on the floor and the ceiling. Ursula’s Cave, Journey to Wonderland or a Sleeping Blue-Tea are just a few of the many fantastic cocktails to enjoy down Wolf Lane. This quirky cave is open from Thursday to Saturday from 4pm and can be discovered if you follow the breadcrumbs down Murray Street in Perth.
