If you’re a cocktail-lover, take your pick from their wide selection of delicious gin cocktails with their most popular including the Gin Fizz featuring Roku Gin, and the Dry Martini featuring Sipsmith London Dry Gin. Offering a tavern-style menu arranged by Chef James Watson, indulge in a home made beef pie while sipping on a tasty gin concoction. The Flour Factory

Spread out over three floors of a 100-year-old flour mill on Queen Street, The Flour Factory is a historic site that has been converted into a modern gin bar. With an impressive selection of over 100 gins from around the world, take a spin on their gin wheel for a ‘luck-of-the-draw’ chance to have your G&T made with a premium gin. Or, if there’s a group of you, you could try their Gin and Tonica Trees, which offer nine different G&Ts arranged on a metal ‘tree’ holder. As part of the Sneakers and Jeans hospitality group, you know their service is top-notch, particularly since winning the Group Venue Operator Award at the 2020 Hospitality Awards.

Aurora Perth Rooftop Bar

With an impressive skyline view, Aurora Perth Rooftop bar in the Melbourne Hotel provides an elegant setting in which to relax and taste their unique, flavoured gin cocktails. The story of ‘Aurora’, meaning ‘the goddess of dawn’, who was the mother of the wind gods, gave existence to their famous ‘Anemoi’ gin cocktails which are made with their very own house blends of gin. Inspired by winds from around the world, the taste profile of each gin cocktail has its own characteristics and purpose. You can take your pick of their coffee, spicy, herbal, or citrus-flavoured gins, or if you’re feeling peckish, they also offer sharing plates, perfect for an after work catch-up with the gang. Aurora is open from 4 until 11pm on Fridays.

Gimlet

Housed in a cosy heritage building in Fremantle, Gimlet is a small corner bar reminiscent of traditional apperitivo bars. Taste a range of gin cocktails, and you can’t go wrong with the classic Gimlet – the bar’s namesake. Part of the historic Warders Hotel in Fremantle, Gimlet is a cosy go-to drinks spot as the weather gets cooler. Gimlet is open seven days a week, from 8am (for barista coffee too) until late.
