While many of us are feeling the pressure to organise a gift in time for Father’s Day, the truth is that many of the dads in our lives would be perfectly happy with a hot meal and a frosty pint in their hand under the sunshine.

We have over 25 Father’s Day deals, special menus and events on our guide, serving up everything from classic Sunday roasts to high teas and buffet breakfasts. Have a browse and see what’s calling Dad – from premium steaks, luxury set menus and rooftop views or a classic pub feed, or better yet, read below for our top picks of the bunch. You’ll have to book for all of these spots, so be fast!

And if you’re still convinced Dad will be expecting something more substantial, head to our Father’s Day gift guide, where we put together five experiences he’ll actually enjoy.

Father’s Day at Baillie Hill

East Victoria Park

After opening in January this year, Baillie Hill has quietly established itself as one of Perth’s best family-friendly hospo hotspots. The heritage-listed Elizabeth Baillie house marks the heart of the precinct, with five different venues in the mix to make Dad’s day.

This Father’s Day, the precinct is hosting bookings for breakfast, lunch and dinner – start with a set-menu breakfast at Milly’s Acre, or head to The Berwick for food and drink specials for lunch and dinner sittings.

The highlight of the program is the chance to win an extra gift for Dad with a Baillie Hill Distillery prize box. For every Father’s Day table booking, visitors will enter the draw to win one of three boxes, including Baillie Hill Distillery vodka, gin and limoncello, plus two glasses and a cocktail shaker.

Father’s Day at the Leederville Precinct

Leederville

Here is another option for Dad that includes multiple different venues to choose from, or perhaps float between if you’re planning for a long day out.

Every Dad enjoys a complimentary Stone & Wood pint on arrival with any booked table, and there’s more up for grabs, too – two $500 value prize packs (think meat, BBQ utensils, hot sauce, beer and more) are available, with every Father’s Day booking automatically entering the draw.

For special menus, The Garden is serving up 100-day grain-fed surf & turf and a 1.5-kilo slow-roasted lamb shoulder, while Servo is hosting 90 minutes of bottomless brekkie beers and morning mimosas or a seven-plate woodfired long lunch. The Leederville Hotel will close out the day with a Sunday roast and comedy sets upstairs in the Comedy Club from 3pm.

Father’s Day at The Generous Squire

Perth CBD

The Generous Squire isn’t coming to play this Father’s Day, turning the classic pub feed up a notch with specials and free merch.

Their limited-time offer worth booking for is the Father’s Tray – a massive smorgasbord of chicken tenders, cheeseburger sliders, mac and cheese bites, juicy pork belly and chips for the casual-fare fan. All dads booked in get a free pint and complimentary Shafto Brews merch, The Generous Squire’s in-house brewery.

Add on a 3.8-litre table keg of any tap beer for $60 and Dad should be satisfied.

Father’s Day at The Claremont Hotel

Claremont

The Claremont Hotel has put together a Father’s Day program with fun for the whole family.

Giant lawn games in the courtyard will keep the kids entertained, while steak sandwich specials promise to keep dad satiated. Every Dad will receive a complimentary engraved glass, customised by the on-site engravist from 12pm to 5pm.

There’s even more to take home, however, with a ‘dress as your dad’ competition – entrants will be in the running to win a fresh pair of New Balances for Dad.

If you’re after something more refined, book the Bay Lounge for a three-course set menu. Salmon tartare, dry-aged sirloin and a dulce de leche cannelloni are just some of the options that’ll make the day extra special.

Father’s Day Rooftop Feast at HQ Bar + Kitchen

Elizabeth Quay

If you’re looking for something Dad won’t forget, how about a rooftop lunch looking over one of Perth’s best views?

While the scenic setting is enough to get us over the line, Dad will be treated to a specially curated menu just for Father’s Day to make this exclusive experience one of our top picks. With a complimentary glass of wine, visitors will dine on selections from the mind of HQ’s Head Chef – freshly shucked oysters, Shark Bay scallops, and a Korean-style Wagyu flank steak with plenty of chips to go around.

You’ll enjoy this for $78 per person, and there’s a kids’ menu option if you’re bringing along the whole family. Exceptional views and food!
