Mary Street Bakery


Mary Street Bakery has become a Perth institution renowned for its premium baked goods, tasty all-day brunch menu and signature décor. The team at MSB are the best at what they do, and they don’t shy away when it comes to Christmas. When it comes to Christmas treats, Mary Street Bakery is renowned for their fruit mince pies which they sell in both traditional and low gluten options. Lover of Christmas cake? Get your hands on one of their small or large fruit cakes available at all stores. Make sure to keep your eyes peeled for their special Christmas donut with a ginger glaze, white chocolate, cherry, pistachio, and rice bubbles.

Milling their flour fresh and using locally sourced grains, family-owned bakery Miller + Baker is your go-to for a traditional Christmas cake. Their Christmas cake is a perfect blend of brandy-soaked fruit and warm spices. Roho Bure, Leederville


Ice cream? On Christmas? Why not enjoy one of Roho Bur’s decadent and delicious Cookie Ice Cream Sandwiches on a stinking hot Christmas day. The team at Roho Bure have revolutionised the dessert game by offering vegan, gluten-free and refined sugar-free options. This Christmas they have added some festive additions to their menu. Sink your teeth into the cherry and chocolate ice cream trifle, a giant gingerbread cookie sandwich or an assorted cookie sandwich box – vegan and gluten-free of course.

The Leederville store is open Wed, Thur, and Sun 12-9pm and Fri and Sat 12-10pm.

Wild Bakery, South Fremantle


South Fremantle’s Wild Bakery specialises in French patisserie favourites. This year the bakers at Wild Bakery are serving up their famous Bûche de Noël, a traditional log-shaped cake combining chocolate, cherry and vanilla – the perfect dessert for a hot Aussie Christmas day! Their special Christmas menu also includes fruit mince pies as well as stollen, a German fruit and nut-filled bread.

Open 7 days 6am- 3pm, and pick-up is available.

Dolce & Salato


Using traditional Italian recipes, the pasticceri at Dolce & Salato have added some festive additions to their menu. Across the five locations, some exciting traditional Italian Christmas treats have been added to the menu. Italian panettone, struffoli – a dish made of small balls of sweet fried dough and panforte, are all available for purchase. Fruit mince pies are also available.

Stores are located across Perth open 7 days in Fremantle (6am-6pm), North Perth (6am-6pm), Cockburn Central (7am-6pm), South Perth (6am-5pm) and Bullcreek (7am-5:30pm).

North Street Store, Cottesloe


The expert bakers and chefs at Cottesloe’s North Street Store are back again this festive season crafting up some delicious Christmas specials! The Christmas menu this year has expanded, welcoming in new additions of Stollen, Apple Crumble and Bûche de Noël, as well as their famous fruit mince pies. For some extra fun at this year’s Christmas lunch, try their pre-baked pavlova shells topped with your favourite summer fruit.

Croff Bakehouse, CBD


Specialising in croissants of all kinds of funky flavours, Croff Bakehouse has made a name for itself in the past year. Serving up flavours such as pandan coconut, beef rendang, jalapeno cheese and matcha, you bet we were excited to see what Christmas specials they would be whipping up this season. Their Christmas box features a Christmas tree croissant (black forest flavour), a snowman choux made with chestnut chocolate and raspberry coulis and a candy cane croffin stuffed with gingerbread custard and topped with brown butter buttercream.

Open Mon – Thur (7am – 1:30pm), Fri (9am – 2:30pm), Sat (9am – 3pm) and Sun (10am – 1:20pm). Head in store or order online.

Common Bakery, Nedlands


Evolving from Fremantle’s Bread in Common, Common Bakery in Nedlands sells direct to the public, baking wood-fired and preservative-free bread daily. This Christmas we are blessed once again to see their beloved fruit mince pies making a return! Packed with flavour and encased in a buttery crust these Christmas staples have been macerating in brandy since July. Gingerbread men cookies are also available in store!

Open Monday-Friday 6:30am-2pm and Weekends 7am-12pm.

The Honeycake, Fremantle & CBD


The team at The Honey Cake has curated a selection of Western Australian small-batch Christmas products in a Christmas hamper making the perfect gift. The hamper features products made by local family businesses, featuring a candle, gingerbread biscuits, honey, tea, seasonal chocolates and a small gift box of Honeycake. Also available for Christmas are the traditional Honeycakes in a variety of sizes as well as the new Honeymisu – a Honeycake and tiramisu hybrid!

Have it delivered for free or collect from the Fremantle or CBD stores.

The CBD store is open Mon-Sat 10am-5pm, and the Fremantle store is open Fri-Sun 9am-6pm.

Chez Jean-Claude Patisserie, Subiaco & West Leederville


The team at Chez Jean-Claude Patisserie have been providing customers with delicious baked goods for the past 24 years. With a fusion of Swiss and French baking, the patisserie doesn’t mess around when it comes to their Christmas specials. Pop on down to either their Subiaco or West Leederville locations and pick up a box of gingerbread men, walnut strudel or even a combo platter of fruit mince pies and brownies.

The Subiaco store is open Mon to Fri from 7am – 5pm and Sat 7:30 am to 1:30 pm, the West Leederville store is open Mon to Fri from 6:30am – 2:30pm and Sat 8:45 – 12:45.

Sherbet Bake Shop, Maylands


Satisfy your sweet tooth this Christmas with Maylands’ Sherbet Bake Shop. This New York-style café keeps it simple by using the best quality ingredients to handmake their baked goods on-site in small batches. The new Christmas additions have been warmly welcomed, on offer are fruit mince pies and their Christmas Freckle cake – choose from vanilla, red velvet, or chocolate.

Baked 180, Mount Lawley


Boasting an extensive menu of one-of-a-kind cupcake flavours, the team at Baked 180 have released an exciting Christmas range. On the menu is a sticky date cake, with toffee sauce between each layer and fluffy vanilla frosting topped with gingerbread men and candy cane decorations. They are also selling vegan and gluten-free red velvet berry cheesecake, Christmas cookie dough and Chocolate caramel Biscoff, to name a few.

Cakes can be picked up in-store or delivered right to your door. Open Tues to Sun 10am – to 8pm.

Zonts, Northbridge


Fusing French-style artisan baking with modern techniques to deliver a new take on the standard butter croissants, the bakers at Zonts pride themselves on making the most buttery croissants, with their Christmas menu not shying away from the challenge.

On the menu is a Christmas ham zont – stuffed with leg ham, gravy, mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce and glazed with honey. Also worth a try is the stollen zont with spiced almond marzipan and fruit mince finished off with a generous dusting of icing sugar.

Spirals Cinnamon, Northbridge


The team at Spirals Cinnamon have been producing some of Perth’s best cinnamon scrolls since first opening in 2004. The entire store is dedicated to the sweet doughy treat, and they have a variety of flavours available, from savory cheese to salted butterscotch pecan. Lucky for us the team are bringing back their Christmas Mini boxes this festive season. These delicious cinnamon-y treats make for the perfect gift or a traet at your office and work functions.

The Little Bakery, Nedlands


The Little Bakery are known for their fruit mince pies which they sell at grocers all around Perth. This Christmas they are also selling gingerbread men biscuits and traditional Christmas cakes as well as Viennese shortbread biscuits, Christmas florentines and rocky road. Assorted Christmas cupcakes gift boxes are also available to order and make the perfect gift for friends, family or colleagues.
