There are many recurring night markets across the inner and outer suburbs – we’d recommend checking out online community pages to see when a night out with a delicious plate might come your way – otherwise, these spots are absolutely worth the trip!
Scarborough Sunset Markets
Winter: Every Saturday, Summer: Every Thursday
These markets are iconic for a reason! Running practically year-round with a small break between seasons, these markets combine tasty street food with Scarborough Beach views that live up to their reputation.
Perth’s favourite food trucks all make an appearance, joined by creatives showcasing their work, live music, tarot readings, and even bonfires in winter. Wander down to the beach with your dinner or grab a spot on the Amphitheatre steps to watch the sunset – just allow time for parking!
Subi Night Market
Every Saturday, September 5 – May 8
Subi Night Markets have just opened for the season, taking over Market Square beside Subiaco train station each Saturday until May.
Over 40 vendors will rotate through Market Square every week, food options ranging from Euro-inspired stalls to long table feasts that encourage Subi locals to ‘meet your street.’ Little Things Gin offers gin tastings, meaning the convenient train station-adjacent location works in your favour.
On top of the delicious food, artisan stalls showcase the work of local makers, and WAAPA students are set for the night’s entertainment as roving performers.
Joondalup Night Market
Every Saturday, September 26 – December 26
Joondalup Night Markets are back in September on King’s Birthday long weekend and run until Boxing Day, with further dates to be announced.
The upcoming string of dates runs alongside Bloom, an immersive lightscape experience that guides visitors throughout Joondalup’s Central Park, opening Saturday, September 26 and closing Saturday, October 25.
Enjoy holographic wildlife and interactive installations after dining at the markets, gathering Perth’s food trucks for both savoury and sweet bites. The markets stay open late through Bloom for those who are saving dessert for last! As always, live music and a family-friendly atmosphere are further highlights.
Twilight Food Market
Every Friday, October 2 – April 30
The Twilight Food Market hiatus is almost over! Dinner is sorted on a Friday night after work with this collection of culture and cuisine at Forrest Chase.
With plenty of places to sit and equally as many stalls to wander, you can take your time here and sample everything from crispy pork banh mi to creamy pasta, or Brazilian barbecue and freshly-squeezed juices. Make sure you leave from for desert, with soft serve, crepes, bubble tea and gelato all on the menu.

South Perth StrEATS

Sir James Mitchell Park isn’t just home to picturesque views of the South Perth foreshore – it’s also where you’ll find one of Perth’s best street food night markets!
Each summer, locals descend on the park four nights a week for a picnic overlooking the city skyline. Every night lines up a different roster, but there’ll be something you’ll love no matter when a visit works for you. Thai food, tacos, donuts and smash burgers are regulars on the lineup, with live music every night to make the picnic on the water an extra special occasion.
