Friday nights in the city are heating up, and with the arrival of the warmer evenings comes one of Perth’s most popular food markets.
The Twilight Food Markets return to take over Forrest Place every Friday evening from October 2 to April 24, 2027, excluding public holidays. Almost 40 vendors will set up from 4:30pm, bringing with them delicious flavours from around the world.
Standouts this season include newcomers Nana Bread and Il Panzerotto, the former dealing in speciality banana bread and the latter a popular food truck serving up traditional Italian panzerotti.
Returning favourites range from Tibetan momos to Korean street food, Thai desserts and dumplings from practically every culture.
A quick Friday night after-work bite has never been easier – grab a plate, work your way through the stalls and catch up with mates. Late-night shopping coincides with the markets, meaning you can browse the stores throughout Hay Street Mall and Forrest Chase and end the night with a tasty meal. On top of it all, City of Perth car parks are offering five dollar flat fees for night-time parking, meaning visitors can soak up the atmosphere of the markets without worrying about excessive parking fees.
The Twilight Food Markets will run every Friday at Forrest Place from October 2, to April 24, excluding public holidays. Entry is free.
